What to Expect
Green Flag Club events are designed to feel nothing like traditional dating — no awkward speed rounds, no forced chemistry, no app-profile small talk. Instead, we create intimate, well-curated gatherings where connection can unfold at its own pace, in good company, over a beautiful meal or a thoughtfully chosen drink.

The Event Format
Each gathering brings together a small group of 6 to 10 carefully vetted members — all friend-vouched, all genuinely looking for something real. We keep the group intentionally small so everyone leaves having had a real conversation, not just an introduction.
Events take place at a curated café or restaurant in Taipei — somewhere with atmosphere, warmth, and enough quiet to actually hear each other. Expect a relaxed two-to-three hour window, good food or drinks, and a structure that takes the pressure off.
How the Evening Flows
Every event follows a gentle arc designed to help everyone settle in and open up — no icebreaker cringe, just a thoughtful progression from hello to genuine conversation.
- Arrival & welcome — Guests arrive within a short window and are greeted by a host. Light drinks or tea to settle in.
- Guided introductions — A brief, unhurried round of introductions facilitated by the host. Not a pitch — just a chance to put names to faces and share one thing you’re genuinely curious about lately.
- Conversation prompts — The host introduces a handful of open-ended prompts to spark table-wide discussion. Questions designed to reveal character, not résumé.
- Free conversation over food or drinks — The structured portion gives way to organic mingling. Move around, revisit a topic, or just enjoy the meal.
- Private interest selection (post-event) — After the gathering, you’ll receive a short, confidential form. Note anyone you’d like to know better. We’ll only share contact details when there’s a mutual match — no one is ever told you passed.
No Pairing, No Pressure
There is no matchmaking moment, no public pairing, and no expectation that you leave with anyone. You’re here to meet people worth knowing — full stop. Some connections become romantic. Many become genuine friendships. All of them start with a real conversation.
The post-event interest form is entirely optional and always private. You decide who, if anyone, you’d like to reconnect with — and we handle the rest discreetly.
Who Attends
Green Flag Club is for intentional singles in Taipei, typically between 28 and 45, who have been recommended by a trusted friend or applied and been accepted through our review process. Every guest has been vetted — not for credentials, but for character.
We keep the community small on purpose. Scarcity isn’t a gimmick — it’s how trust is built.
